The Housing Support Service is designed to reduce homelessness among individuals affected by drug and/or alcohol dependency by providing tailored, person-centred support that addresses both recovery and housing-related needs. Working in partnership with the Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership (LRP), the service delivers housing support through recovery hubs across the county, alongside flexible floating support within the community.

This integrated approach enables individuals to access support in a way that best meets their needs, helping them to secure and sustain suitable accommodation while progressing on their recovery journey. The service focuses on preventing homelessness, promoting independent living, and improving overall wellbeing. Through a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, staff work closely with individuals to develop personalised support plans, overcome barriers to housing stability, build resilience, and achieve positive long‑term outcomes.

This role will cover the East of Lincolnshire, supporting individuals across a diverse geographical area and working collaboratively with a range of partner agencies, housing providers, and community services to ensure people receive the right support at the right time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To provide support to Service Users in a safe and maintained environment, by support planning, reviewing and assessing their individual risks and needs.
• Be responsible for assessing and evaluating the needs of Service Users.
• To ensure that tasks identified in support plans are communicated to Support Workers and that these tasks are clear, appropriate and agreed with the Service User.
• To enable Service Users to understand the requirements of independent living including budgeting, maintenance and use of leisure time.
• To liaise appropriately with Key partners, stakeholders and service providers to ensure appropriate support is offered to all Service Users.
