We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Fully Qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a variety of primary schools on a supply or contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to gain diverse classroom experience, work with different school communities, and have flexibility in your working schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Adapt to different classroom environments and year groups as required.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Support pupils with mental, social, and physical difficulties.
  • Able to adapt learning styles for individual pupils.
  • Organise outside activities for learning purposes.
  • Work closely with other professionals like educational psychologists or physiotherapists.
  • Good verbal and numerical skills.
