We are proud to be rated GOOD overall by CQC, with an OUTSTANDING rating in Caring, reflecting the kindness, dignity and person‑centred support that sits at the heart of everything we do.
We are a family‑run home where residents are truly known as individuals and where staff are valued, listened to and supported. We believe in creating a home full of laughter, warmth, reassurance and meaningful moments — not just delivering tasks. Our focus is on helping residents maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life for as long as possible. Whether that is supporting somebody to continue enjoying their favourite music, encouraging social engagement, providing outstanding end‑of‑life care, or simply taking the time to sit and chat over a cup of tea, we believe the little things matter.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and confident Senior Lead Care Assistant to join our team. You will play an important role in maintaining a calm, supportive and positive atmosphere within the home while ensuring residents receive truly person‑centred care tailored to their individual needs, routines and wishes. You will work closely alongside our management team, healthcare professionals and families to help residents live safely, comfortably and with dignity.
About You
We are looking for somebody who genuinely cares. You should hold an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and have experience working within elderly care. You will be kind, reliable, calm under pressure and able to lead a team with warmth and professionalism. You should be passionate about high‑quality care, understand the importance of dignity and respect, and be someone who naturally goes “Above & Beyond” for residents and colleagues alike.
We value people who:
- Lead with compassion and empathy
- Take pride in delivering excellent care
- Work well as part of a team
- Are organised and dependable
- Build positive relationships with residents and families
- Want to continue learning and developing professionally
