We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the care home, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff alike. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards
- Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly
- Restock toiletries and consumables as required in bathrooms and kitchens
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or window washing when needed
- Support other team members with additional duties to ensure efficient operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in janitorial, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is advantageous
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the shift
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within allocated periods
