The Shine Group is comprised of Limelight, Telegraph Building, Belsonic, CHSQ and Emerge. We are a leading promoter of events, nightclubs and festivals across the UK and Ireland. We are seeking a part time Maintenance Manager to join our team. Based at the Limelight in Ormeau Avenue, you will help deliver marketing across our various channels.
The Maintenance Manager will perform a variety of duties during their workdays and will supervise their own time and maintenance plan in conjunction with the General Manager. These duties can vary depending on the needs of the business. Some of the most common responsibilities will include:
- Conducting site inspections and identifying areas requiring extra maintenance work
- Follow safe work practices at all times
- Performing minor on-site repairs
- Scheduling contractors for major repairs as required
- Discussing maintenance concerns with venue management
- Staying on-call and responding to emergency maintenance needs
- Developing maintenance budgets, hiring maintenance crew and negotiating vendor contracts if required
- Controlling and monitoring inventory
- Coordinating work performed by outside vendors
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience conducting maintenance for large operations
- An understanding of general maintenance issues and the ability to be able to fix them
- Good verbal and communication skills and a general friendly demeanour is essential
- Good physical fitness for carrying heavy loads and performing other physically demanding tasks
This is a part time position, roughly 16-20hrs pw depending on the needs of the business.
