My client are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Designer to create, detail, and optimise their cladding systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision and enjoys solving technical challenges. If you’re ready to contribute your expertise to high-quality designs.

What You Bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience in designing metal roofing, cladding and Façade systems (less experience considered for exceptional candidates).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (2D / 3D); experience with thermal or acoustic modelling software is advantageous.
  • A thorough understanding of aluminium and steel detailing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to design.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Design and Detailing:

  • Develop and detail rainscreen, twin-skin and bespoke metal roofing and cladding systems for commercial applications.
  • Adapt existing proprietary systems to meet specific project requirements.
  • Produce accurate fabrication drawings for production based on customer specifications.

Technical Support:

  • Respond to technical queries from clients and provide expert advice.
  • Collaborate with customers to deliver designs tailored to their needs.
  • Maintain and expand our library of system details, ensuring design consistency.
