This Design house is a growing specialist construction business with a portfolio of work that reaches all over the UK and Ireland. Due to a significant period of growth, their design team are expanding!
Role Summary
- Ensure quality is delivered for design excellence, compliance to contract specification and our own internal design standards – strive to ensure all work is delivered on time, on budget, and on brief.
- Produce working drawings/design in accordance with the specifications received from the client and according to program and client expectations.
- Attend handover meetings to review and discuss the project, identifying design requirements including clarification of the scope of works.
- Develop and maintain the ViewPoint design file.
- Liaise directly with the appropriate representatives to identify and agree all variations between the client specifications/drawings and the tender documents.
- Submit designs for internal review and discussion and then on for client approval.

Required Criteria
- Degree, HND or equivalent in the built environment sector; Engineering or Architecture/Architectural Technology.
- 5+ years’ experience as a designer in cladding and/or glazing.
- Highly proficient in use of AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of unitised and stick systems, window/door systems, and cladding materials (e.g. Rainscreen Cladding, GFRC, terracotta).
