Join Lightup Tutoring and help shape the future of English education! We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented English GCSE Content Creator to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to create high-quality, engaging resources that support students in achieving their GCSE goals.

This role would suit a recent English Literature graduate who is passionate about education and content creation. No teaching experience is required, just a love of English and an eye for detail.

Lightup Tutoring isn’t your average education company—we make GCSE English actually fun (yes, really). Our online platform, The Lightup Hub, helps students smash their exams with engaging videos, bite-sized notes, interactive quizzes, and personalised revision plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Core Resources: Develop engaging lesson and revision materials based on a set template to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Design Supplementary Materials: Produce additional resources such as quizzes, model answers, and supporting documents using standardised templates.
  • Edit and Upload Content: Proofread and edit resources for accuracy and quality, then upload them to our website and learning platform.
  • Quality Check Courses: Review existing courses and resources to maintain the highest educational and editorial standards.

About You:

  • A recent graduate (or soon-to-be graduate) in English Literature or a related field.
  • Passionate about English language and literature, with a strong grasp of the GCSE curriculum.
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and a flair for clear, engaging writing.
  • Confident using digital tools and able to follow established templates and brand guidelines.
  • Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work from anywhere—your organisation skills aren’t tied to a desk.
  • Team events & a fun, collaborative culture.
