We are The Light, providing a unique immersive experience that surprises and delights our guests across 14 locations in the UK. We offer a wide range of activities; cinema, bowling, karaoke, darts, mini golf, climbing walls, bars, and kitchens – we have it all! We have an exciting opportunity for a Climbing Team Leader to join our Adventure Climb team. With our modern facilities and a welcoming team, we’re a great place for climbers of all levels. About You
- Friendly, engaging, and confident talking to people at all levels
- A strong leader who can motivate and guide a team
- Experienced in indoor climbing at a supervisory level
- Great knowledge of indoor climbing equipment, including use, storage, and upkeep
- Comfortable working with groups of all ages and abilities
- Good understanding of climbing techniques and when to use them
- Flexible to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- First Aid certified (preferred)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and inspire the team to deliver a safe, fun climbing experience
- Encourage guests to challenge themselves and reach new heights
- Give clear instructions and support to climbers of all levels
- Keep climbing equipment safe, clean, and well-maintained
- Supervise all climbing activities, following safety procedures
- Carry out rescue operations if needed
- Train and support the climbing team
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle any guest concerns professionally
