We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our management team. As a Kitchen Manager, you will lead the kitchen team to prepare, cook, and present our dishes with pride and passion, rising to the challenge of a busy service and ensuring food standards are met and maintained at all times.
About You:
- Experienced in leading a kitchen team in a fast‑paced, quick‑service environment.
- A passion for food and a commitment to high standards in food presentation.
- Proven ability to develop, coach, and train kitchen teams.
- An organized manager with a keen attention to detail, ensuring adherence to health and safety, food hygiene, and compliance procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all departments.
- Advanced knowledge of stock control, with the ability to analyse stock results and make informed recommendations.
- Strong commercial acumen, including an understanding of finance, purchasing, and menu costing.
How we will keep you busy:
- Manage daily kitchen operation – from food preparation to final plate presentation.
- Lead the training of new starters in the kitchen as well as assist with ongoing training for the venue.
- Oversee inventory, minimise wastage, maintain food cost targets without compromising on quality.
- Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and high standards of cleanliness.
- Attend weekly manager’s meetings and provide an update on all topics relevant to kitchen operations.
- Be responsible for a smooth and effective kitchen service and ensure all necessary work is completed prior to the commencement of the service.
- Work closely with front‑of‑house team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
