We are The Light, providing a unique immersive experience that surprises and delights our guests across 14 locations in the UK. We offer a wide range of activities; cinema, bowling, karaoke, darts, mini golf, climbing walls, bars, and kitchens – we have it all!

We’re looking for a confident and outgoing Cinema Team Member to join our crew as a Host. This is not a behind-the-screens role. Our Cinema Hosts introduce films live before screening, engaging with audiences, sharing announcements and helping create an exciting atmosphere for our guests.

About You

  • Natural, outgoing and talkative
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Interested in film and cinema
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and engaging – confident in speaking in front of the audience
  • Reliable and happy to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing role requiring comfort with physical work and a dynamic environment

  • Welcome and assist guests with a smile
  • Deliver live film introductions and announcements to large cinema audiences
  • Keep all areas clean, tidy, and safe
  • Help guests find their screens and settle in for their film
