Role Description
The Leisure Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based at The Light in Redhill.
This role oversees the day‑to‑day operation of leisure activities, including bowling, interactive games, and other entertainment offerings, ensuring a safe, engaging, and high‑quality experience for all guests.
The Leisure Manager leads and motivates the leisure team, manages staffing schedules, supports training and performance, and maintains excellent customer service standards.
Daily responsibilities include monitoring venue presentation, coordinating events and group bookings, managing budgets and performance targets, and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
The role works closely with cinema, food and beverage, and marketing teams to drive footfall, maximise revenue, and uphold The Light’s brand standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in leisure, hospitality, or entertainment venue management, with a focus on delivering excellent guest experiences.
- Strong team leadership and people management skills, including training, coaching, and performance management.
- Proficiency in operational administration, such as scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and basic IT systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and support diverse guests and team members.
- Sound understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards in a public venue environment.
