Kennington School is a new SEN school for children on the autism spectrum, opening September 2026. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Estates Horticulture and Grounds Technician is responsible for grounds maintenance and related activities to ensure that the Kennington school site is maintained to an excellent standard and to provide a professional impression to all visitors, parents, students and staff.

This will include:

  • Care of all external areas
  • Sports pitch preparation
  • Seasonal planting
  • Hedge cutting
  • Grass cutting
  • Maintaining hard surfaces
  • Landscaping and woodland maintenance
  • Machine maintenance
  • Liaising with contractors

This is a permanent full-time role. Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 08.00 – 16.00, 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
