LVS Ascot is a high performing co-educational day and boarding school, with a reputation for all-round excellence. We are recruiting for a Site Porter to work as part of our in-house portering team. The role will require the post holder to take a lead in work allocation, carrying out light security tasks such as unlocking/locking of gates and buildings, establishing strong lines of communication with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the various portering duties and dealing with any ad hoc requests from the school.
We are looking for a professional Site Porter with “hands on” attributes, to work as part of our portering team undertaking activities including:
- Site set ups
- Post and deliveries
- Event support
- Traffic management
- Site lock up/unlock
The successful applicant will also coordinate the upkeep of the sites and vehicle fleet to ensure health and safety compliance as well as running team meetings and providing staff training. The successful applicant will have the ability to manage their own workload, be computer literate, have a strong awareness of HSE and possess a full clean driving licence.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, two-week alternating rota (10am – 6pm & 6am – 2pm) 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. So, join us and you will find a friendly and supportive team.
