We are looking for a dynamic, capable and well-qualified teacher to join our Drama department from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a Drama teacher looking to join a highly successful and well-resourced department of supportive and committed staff.

There is the potential to teach classes across the age range, including A Level, and the appointee will have responsibility for directing one school production (year group play) each year. There would be excellent support available for an ECT or someone looking to transition into teaching, but equally the post would suit an experienced teacher seeking a new role.

The role is part time, between 0.4 and 0.6 FTE depending on the wider pastoral and wider-curricular involvement within the school; we are ideally seeking a colleague who can participate fully in the School’s extensive pastoral and wider-curricular programme.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Before appointment to any role in the school, checks including an Enhanced DBS Check and workplace references will be undertaken in accordance with current statutory guidance. Evidence of eligibility to work in the UK is required. A one-year probationary period will also apply.

The Foundation is committed to fostering an inclusive culture that promotes and values diversity and celebrates the diverse voice of our community. This role has the opportunity for regular contact with pupils and therefore is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
