As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. You will collaborate closely with the HR department and other stakeholders to maintain up-to-date payroll records while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll on a monthly or fortnightly basis, as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legal regulations.
- Verify and reconcile timesheets, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related data.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including salary, benefits, and deductions.
- Prepare and distribute payslips as needed.
- Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain and update payroll records and reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end payroll processes, including tax filings.
- Collaborate with HR and relevant departments to facilitate accurate and timely onboarding and offboarding.
- Generate and distribute payroll reports to management and other departments.
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Manage additional payroll-related tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor or management.
- Stay informed about payroll laws and regulations and implement necessary process updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of payroll processing experience.
- Experience managing a payroll of approximately 250 employees.
- Previous experience with TES and security payrolls is advantageous.
- Experience in a corporate environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with PaySpace is an advantage.
