About Meliá White House Hotel NW1 3UP Meliá White House is a modern and elegantly newly refurbished hotel exceptionally located next to Regent’s Park, within a short walk from the world-renowned shopping streets of Oxford Circus & Regents Street. Warren Street, Great Portland Street and Regent’s Park underground stations are all within a 5-minute walk.

Salary: £27,900 gross per annum, Plus Competitive Service Charge, Hotel discounts, Health cash back plan, Meals on duty, Pension scheme, Loyalty rewards and referral bonuses, many more.

Food & Beverage Assistant (Casual contract) Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • To actively demonstrate excellence in customer care and service, whilst maintaining high levels of respect and a professional image at all times within the hotel.
  • To maintain high levels of personal presentation and cleanliness in accordance with the hotel uniform and personal appearance standards.
  • To ensure that all guests are welcomed into the outlets in a warm, genuine and professional manner and that where known, the guest is addressed by name.
  • To be fully conversant with all the items of food and beverage available, to be able to describe menu items in an informative and helpful manner.
  • To assist the guests in their selection of items and encourage additional sales.
  • To answer any queries that may arise regarding the menu items.
  • To assist in the taking of food and beverage orders and to deliver them to the kitchen or to the bar area for preparation in a timely manner.
  • To prepare and pour drinks when ordered and to assist in the preparation of food items as required.
  • To anticipate and identify guest expectations, to ensure that their needs are met and where possible to exceed demand.
