This Sales Development Representative role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients, creating high-quality sales opportunities for the wider sales team. You’ll be focused on proactive outbound prospecting, intelligent lead management, and maintaining a clean, accurate sales pipeline. This is a role for someone who enjoys structured outreach, sharp conversations, and the satisfaction of turning cold data into warm opportunities.
- Execute outbound prospecting activity via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Qualify outbound leads against agreed criteria before passing to the sales team.
Sales Pipeline & CRM Management:
- Accurately create, update, and manage leads and opportunities within the CRM.
- Maintain excellent pipeline hygiene, ensuring all records are complete, up to date, and correctly staged.
- Log all sales activity, notes, and outcomes consistently.
- Support forecasting accuracy by ensuring data integrity within the CRM.
Collaboration & Sales Support:
- Provide insight and feedback on lead quality, objections, and market trends.
- Support sales campaigns and initiatives with targeted outreach lists and follow-up.
- Monitor personal performance metrics and adapt approach to improve results.
- Stay informed about LoftyWorks and The Letting Partnership’s products, services, and value proposition, as well as the wider lettings industry trends.
- Continuously refine messaging, outreach techniques, and qualification skills.
Previous experience in a Sales Development, Business Development, or similar role preferred:
- Previous experience with software sales, SaaS, B2B Business Development or lettings considered.
- Proven ability to conduct outbound prospecting and initiate sales conversations.
- Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, ideally HubSpot.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accurate data entry and pipeline hygiene.
- Comfortable working to targets and performance metrics.
- Understanding of B2B consultative sales process.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or similar.
- Familiarity with B2B sales environments.
- Experience selling services or solutions rather than transactional products.
- Understanding of the lettings or property sector.
