This is a part-time, on-site role based in Nottingham. The chosen candidate will be responsible for supporting and delivering youth-focused activities and services on behalf of the Centre. The role involves planning and running our weekly Youth Club sessions, coordinating activities and healthy meals for our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme during school holidays, and creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where young people can thrive. The Youth Coordinator will also collaborate with schools, community groups, partner organisations, and families to identify needs, coordinate resources, and ensure that services are accessible and relevant. Administrative responsibilities such as maintaining records, monitoring outcomes, and contributing to reports are also part of this role.
Person Specification
- Experience working with young people in a youth work, education, or community setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Youth work qualification or relevant certification.
- Experience managing volunteers or leading teams.
