The Role
The Housekeeping Porter is responsible for maintaining the steady flow of linen around the property, ensuring the Housekeeping team have a ready supply of clean linen at the required times.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking or removing Cot beds and Z-beds from bedrooms as per daily list
- Stripping beds on assigned floors
- Removing dirty linen and delivering it to the Laundry
- Delivering clean linen from the Laundry and placing it on shelves
- Turning of mattresses as per daily list
- Assisting the Laundry and Housekeeping Assistants with their tasks when required, or when own tasks are completed.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
