About us

Part of Iconic Hotels and Resorts, The Lensbury is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.

The role

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Food & Beverage management team to keep everything running smoothly while delivering an exceptional guest experience every time.

What you’ll be doing

  • Help set up and prepare our food and beverage areas so everything looks spot-on for service
  • Support with closing duties, making sure areas are clean, tidy, and secure at the end of each shift
  • Welcome guests, take orders, and create a warm, friendly atmosphere
  • Recommend and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience
  • Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
  • Handle payments accurately and confidently
  • Work alongside our kitchen team to ensure food is delivered promptly
  • Keep up to date with menu changes, new dishes, and drink trends
  • Jump into different areas when needed, including banqueting and the Member’s Lounge
