Part of Iconic Hotels and Resorts, The Lensbury is located on the banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.

The Role

The Housekeeping Porter is responsible for maintaining the steady flow of linen around the property, ensuring the Housekeeping team have a ready supply of clean linen at the required times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking or removing Cot beds and Z-beds from bedrooms as per daily list
  • Stripping beds on assigned floors
  • Removing dirty linen and delivering it to the Laundry
  • Delivering clean linen from the Laundry and placing it on shelves
  • Turning of mattresses as per daily list
  • Assisting the Laundry and Housekeeping Assistants with their tasks when required, or when own tasks are completed.

  • Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
