The Role
- Build effective rapport and relationships with our Members in order to achieve their individual goals.
- Carry out gym inductions to the recognised company standards and design training programmes for our Members.
- Teach and demonstrate safe and effective classes and exercises.
- Ensure correct use and storage of all machinery and equipment in fitness suite and studios.
- Clean equipment in fitness suite and studios.
- Supervise gym users, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Carry out individual Personal Training sessions in addition to your scheduled hours (if qualified).
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum Fitness Instructor Level 2 or equivalent qualification essential
- Personal Training Level 3 qualification desired
- CIMSPA endorsed qualifications essential
- Experience in the Leisure and Fitness industry
- Flexible and willing to assist in all areas of the complex, when required
- Excellent customer service skills with friendly, approachable personality
- First Aid Qualification desirable, but not essential
- Proven experience in exercise classes an advantage
