Part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury Resort is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155-bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.

Reporting to the Membership Manager, we are seeking a highly motivated Membership Sales Advisor to join our Membership Sales team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fitness and well-being, enjoys engaging with people, and thrives in a target-driven environment. You will play a key role in growing our membership base by delivering outstanding customer service, building strong relationships, and driving new sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new membership leads through outreach, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct engaging tours of the club, showcasing our premium facilities and lifestyle benefits.
  • Build rapport with prospective members, understanding their needs; recommending suitable membership options.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets, contributing to overall business growth.
  • Follow up with potential members via phone, email, and in-person meetings to convert enquiries into sales.
  • Assist in organising and attending promotional events to attract new members.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and feedback using CRM systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both prospective and existing members, ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint.
  • Work closely with the Membership and Marketing teams to develop creative strategies to drive new sales.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role (preferably in the fitness, leisure, or hospitality industry).
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage and inspire potential members.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple leads effectively.
  • A confident and persuasive approach to selling, with a focus on consultative sales techniques.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support membership growth initiatives.

Hours 40 hours per week including weekends and bank holidays.
