Part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury Resort is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate confidence, a pleasant personality and good communication skills while welcoming all club members and their guests.
- Check membership cards and charge fees when required.
- Adhere to all cash handling procedures, including till reconciliation and cashing up at the end of late shift.
- Maintain high personal standards and ensure uniform is always clean and well presented.
- Be knowledgeable on current offers, activities & events and promote them to all members and guests.
- Book activities for members and take payment where appropriate.
- Assist customers enquiring about membership at The Lensbury.
- Liaise with other leisure departments regarding activity booking where required.
- Ensure all printed material is available to members.
- Ensure the Reception areas are presented to the highest standard including all notice boards.
- Work flexibly between all Reception areas to ensure adequate staffing is achieved, covering breaks and absence as required.
- Carry out additional membership sales responsibilities, assisting the Membership Team.
What we are looking for?
- Ability to deal effectively and competently with all guests and members.
- Methodical approach to work.
- Excellent customer service skills and good telephone manner.
- Accurate typing skills and good attention to detail.
- Previous experience within a reception or similar role and knowledge of computerised reservation systems.
- An interest in Sport and Leisure is desirable.
