Hotel Receptionist

The Role
As one of our Hotel Receptionists, you will be responsible for ensuring a memorable guest experience, through the delivery of an exceptional first impression and departure experience for our guests, as well as dealing with any query during their stay, whilst maximising revenue by cross selling our Food & Beverage and Spa offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide all members and guests of The Lensbury with a warm and efficient welcome
- Deal efficiently with enquiries from members and guests in person and on the telephone
- Make reservations, operating computerised advance reservations system
- Process all financial procedures, ensuring accuracy and security at all times
- Adhere to all department standards of performance
What are we looking for?
- Previous hotel reception experience
- Ability to converse effectively and competently with guests, members and staff
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
- Accurate typing skills and knowledge of Word
- Knowledge of Reservations systems software is an advantage (preferably Opera)
