Grounds & Gardens Assistant The Lensbury, Broom Rd, Teddington, Middlesex, TW11 9NU About us Part of Iconic Hotels & Resorts, The Lensbury is located on the bank of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds. The Role Reporting to the Grounds & Gardens Manager/Head Gardener, you will be supporting the team in the maintenance and upkeep of The Lensbury’s Grounds and Gardens. This role is for 20 hours per week over either 4 or 5 days, must include Mondays and Fridays. Key Responsibilities * Litter picking and bin emptying around the whole of The Lensbury site * Ensure all entrances, exits, and fire escapes are accessible and clear of leaves, grass, moss, etc * Ensure all hard surface, patios, pathways, carpark gullies are correctly maintained, weeded and moss free and all external areas are kept clean, tidy, and always well presented * Undertake leaf blowing, clearance of all carparks, pathways etc. * Ensure that the tennis court surrounds are kept leaf, litter & debris free and well presented at all times * Edging of pathways * Undertake gritting and snow clearing as required. * Clean and maintain the outdoor furniture * Ensure all Health and safety procedures and policies are always adhered to.
