As an Assistant Front Office Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the team, working closely with the Front Office Manager to inspire and motivate your colleagues while ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. Get ready for a dynamic position where you’ll oversee Front Office operations, making sure guests’ needs are met every step of the way, from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, guide, and support the team, providing training, coaching, and ensuring adherence to hotel policies and high service standards.
- Act as the first point of contact for guest enquiries, concerns, and complaints, delivering prompt, professional solutions and supporting the Front Office Manager in handling complex issues.
- Oversee smooth check-in/check-out processes, assist with billing, and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and privacy protocols while responding effectively to emergencies and maintaining accurate logs of incidents and daily activities.
- Conduct regular service quality checks, uphold brand standards, and maintain clear communication across departments and management.
- Fulfil Duty Manager shifts on a rota basis.
- Previous Hotel Reception and Supervisory experience, including leading and developing a team.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Opera Cloud and knowledge of security and safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a professional demeanour.
