About The Role

At Cheam Leisure Centre Everyone Active is currently seeking an ambitious and self‑motivated individual to take on this role and embrace our brand mission of 30 minutes of activity 5 times a week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving income targets and financial KPIs, supporting health and safety, driving operational excellence and supporting the development of the centre and the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day‑to‑day operations of the centre ensuring the highest levels of customer service and safety.
  • Lead on activities such as increasing activity and ensuring all programming is working effectively.
  • Serve as a role model for the team, creating a fun and friendly environment for colleagues and customers.
  • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills and a good understanding of IT.
  • Lead the operations team and manage the Everyone Active Quality Management Systems and processes in all areas of the business.
  • Step up to the General Manager role in their absence, as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • National Pool Lifeguard, First Aid at Work & Pool Plant Operators qualifications are desirable.
  • Training will be provided; candidates will be expected to achieve required qualifications within an agreed timescale.
  • Willingness and availability for day, evening, weekend, public holiday work and shift cover.
