Overview
Everyone Active is currently seeking an ambitious and self‑motivated individual to take on the role of General Manager at Hillsborough Leisure Centre, embracing our brand mission of "30 minutes of activity 5 times a week".
This role is suitable for an experienced manager looking for a new challenge or someone seeking progression.
Candidates must be target‑driven with high customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Passionate and determined to drive new business, exceeding sales and revenue targets while delivering a high standard of customer service and retention.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and strong management skills to maximise overall profitability of the centre.
- Manage time and ensure deadlines are met for reporting and projects.
- Manage health, safety and quality standards within the centre; possess IT experience.
- Create a fun and friendly environment, modelling professionalism, honesty and integrity with team and centre members while embracing company values.
- Ensure day, evening and weekend work, including public holidays, and obtain a DBS prior to starting.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in leisure or fitness sector management.
- Target driven with strong customer service focus.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Time‑management and reporting proficiency.
- IT experience.
- Desirable qualifications: National Pool Lifeguard, First Aid at Work, Pool Plant Operator; training provided with expected attainment within agreed timescale.
