Overview
Leigh Academy Milestone is looking for passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our special educational needs (SEN) team. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in supporting children with learning difficulties or considering a career in teaching.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and medical needs as required.
- Support students in swimming, physical education (PE), and outdoor activities such as Forest School.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to create an inclusive learning environment and aid pupil progress.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to support professional growth.
Details
This permanent role is 31.75 hours per week (term time + 1 week inset) with a salary of £18,552 – £19,825 per annum.
We understand the need for flexibility and are pleased to confirm that we can consider applicants seeking part-time opportunities for this role. Daily hours are 8:45 AM – 3:30 PM, with the possibility of a 2 or 3 day per week pattern. Please indicate on your application if this is of interest.
