Leigh Academy Ebbsfleet is seeking an experienced Student Services Manager to join the team in September. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, be personable and approachable, and have the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, parents and external agencies. Pastoral experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of student-service tasks and support needs.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with students, staff, parents and external agencies.
  • Provide daily pastoral support in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Implement positive behaviour management strategies, including restorative justice practice.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and the local authority fair-access panel.
  • Support disadvantaged pupils and promote inclusive practices.

Qualifications

Friday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm. A permanent role based on 37 hours per week, term time plus one week of inset.

Salary and Benefits

Annual salary range: £25,069 (base) to £29,146 (full-time equivalent) based on experience, linked to the Local Government Pension Scheme. Additional benefits include a free virtual GP service access, participation in the collaborative MAT network and other Leigh Academies Trust benefits.
