Join us as Senior Program Manager, Global Retail Concepts and help bring our next generation of global and regional retail store concepts to life. Operating at the centre of LEGO Retail Development, you will lead high-complexity, end-to-end cross functional programs which involve Insights, Creative teams, Retail Marketing & Experience, VM, Digital, Construction, Finance, Procurement, Store Operations and external partners to deliver innovative store concepts on time and on budget.
The position will be based in our head office in London and will follow a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days working remotely. Relocation support is not offered.
Core Responsibilities
- Program-manage the end-to-end development and delivery of multiple LEGO® store concepts simultaneously, from briefing and design development to implementation.
- Establish governance structure, milestones, KPIs and success criteria for each program.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Design, Construction, Store Operations, Retail Marketing, VM, Digital, Finance, Procurement and global/market stakeholders.
- Act as a central communication hub, ensuring clarity, transparency, and timely updates to leadership and cross-functional teams. Present strategic updates to high level executives / senior leadership.
- Build and manage programme budget and roadmaps, including timelines, budgets, after action reviews and decisions to keep multi-market initiatives on track. Work closely with Finance to track budget approvals, quotations, invoices and resource planning.
- Partner with global and regional retail teams to validate concepts, gather input and ensure feasibility across diverse markets. Facilitate workshops and leadership review sessions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget and to the highest quality and brand standards.
- Manage external partners ensuring clear scopes, fixtures forecasting, project milestones, deliverables, quality expectations and standards, and smooth collaboration.
- Continuously improve workflows and processes to enhance efficiency, documentation, and concept rollout consistency.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies and blockers, driving mitigation plans to keep programmes moving.
- Champion data-driven decision-making by capturing insights, learnings, and performance metrics to inform future concept development.
- Oversee planning and execution of prototype stores, pilot launching and market testing. Analyse pilot performance, customer and employee feedback, operational learnings and post-launch analytics to refine concepts and build rollout guidelines and toolkits.
- Create and maintain a SharePoint database site sharing best practice.
Do you have what it takes?
- 7-10+ years’ experience and strong track record in global program / project management roles within complex retail organizations or design / architectural agencies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, executive level communication and presentation skills.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams.
- Passion about delivering world-class retail environments, ability to balance creative vision with strong commercial acumen.
- Prior experience in store development, retail design, property / real estate, store construction, is a plus.
