A leading national firm is seeking a Real Estate Solicitor to join its established team in London. You will advise a broad client base including developers, investors, occupiers and lenders on a wide range of commercial property matters. The role will involve handling acquisitions and disposals of investment property, including sale and leaseback transactions, as well as negotiating leases and associated landlord and tenant documentation. You will also work on development projects, including site acquisitions and development agreements, and assist with the disposal of development sites. In addition, you will advise on title matters, heads of terms and support the management of property portfolios. You will work closely with colleagues across other practice areas including corporate, banking and construction, contributing to multi-disciplinary transactions. This position offers a high level of responsibility alongside the support of an experienced team, with strong client contact and the opportunity to develop your own profile within the practice.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with between two and four years’ post-qualification experience in commercial property. You will have strong experience in landlord and tenant work and a solid grounding across a range of real estate transactions. Ideally, you will have trained and gained experience within a City firm environment, with exposure to transactions valued at £10 million or above. You will demonstrate strong technical ability.
