A boutique UK-based recruitment agency is hiring its first-ever team member: a proactive, highly organised EA / Recruitment Operations Manager to partner directly with the Director. The business has been operating successfully for 10 years, and this hire will help unlock new opportunities, improve workflows, and support the agency's next phase of growth. This role blends EA support, candidate coordination, recruitment operations, and involvement in a digital/automation transformation. You'll help streamline processes, manage day-to-day operations, work with new tools and systems, and support strategic projects including CRM optimisation and workflow redesign. It is ideal for someone who is ambitious, ideas-driven, and keen to rapidly progress into a more senior role.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Director's diary, inbox, and daily workflow
- Coordinate interviews and prepare candidate documentation
- Keep all candidate/client data updated within the CRM
- Provide general administrative and organisational support
- Screen CVs and conduct qualification calls
- Assess candidate suitability against briefs
- Record notes and updates accurately in the CRM
- Maintain an excellent candidate experience through clear communication
- Partner with the Director on strategic and operational initiatives
- Support CRM/ATS improvements, testing, and data updates
- Assist with building new workflows, SOPs, and value-stream documentation
- Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, automation, and overall delivery
Candidate Management Recruitment's Operations Projects
This role is designed for someone who wants to grow quickly. Phase 1: Work closely with the Director on BAU recruitment and automation-led improvement projects. Phase 2: As the agency scales, you will step into a more senior operations role, begin hiring junior support, and lead your own initiatives. You will be encouraged to bring ideas, challenge the status quo, and own projects from concept to completion.
