You will translate legal and compliance requirements into scalable blockchain architectures, guide technical teams on best practices, and ensure our solutions meet security, regulatory and performance standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end blockchain architectures for legal workflows, including smart contract systems, identity management and document verification.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms and layer-2 solutions based on use case requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal experts, compliance officers and engineers to embed regulatory requirements into technical design.
  • Lead technical due diligence for third-party blockchain integrations and vendor assessments.
  • Document architecture decisions, create reference implementations and mentor engineering teams on blockchain patterns.
  • Support pre-sales and client engagements by presenting technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Required skills:

  • Proven experience designing blockchain-based systems in production environments (Ethereum, Polygon, Hyperledger or similar).
  • Deep understanding of smart contract security, cryptographic primitives, wallet infrastructure and decentralized identity standards.
  • Familiarity with UK and EU regulatory frameworks relevant to blockchain, including data protection, e-signatures and digital asset rules.
  • Strong system design skills with ability to balance decentralisation, scalability and compliance trade-offs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to bridge technical and legal domains.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or ability to obtain relevant visa sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in legal tech, regtech or enterprise blockchain deployments.
  • Knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs, confidential transactions or privacy-preserving architectures.
  • Professional certifications in enterprise architecture, information security or blockchain development.

We offer:

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses in fiat and/or crypto.
  • Flexible working arrangements and budget for conferences, certifications and continuous learning.
