We are looking for a committed, forward-thinking individual to help shape the strategic direction of our Federation and ensure strong governance across our schools. As a Trustee, you will play a crucial role in supporting high standards of education and fostering an inclusive environment where all students can thrive.

We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who can bring diverse perspectives and experiences, reflecting the vibrant communities we serve. We encourage applications from underrepresented groups, including but not limited to candidates from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic backgrounds, disabled people, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those with lived experience of social disadvantage.

Skills or experience in any of the following areas would be welcome (though not essential):

  • Education and school improvement
  • Finance or accountancy
  • Law, governance, or compliance
  • Human resources
  • Community leadership or public service

You do not need to have a child at any of our schools—our priority is attracting Trustees who are passionate about improving outcomes for young people and bringing fresh ideas to the Board.

Time Commitment: Approximately 6-8 meetings per year (mostly in the evening), plus occasional school visits and events.

Term: 4 years (renewable).

This is a really rewarding voluntary role offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people.
