I am working with a growing IT services business seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead client-facing transition and infrastructure projects. This is a visible role where you will take full ownership of technical change initiatives. Your focus will be on making complex transitions feel controlled, structured and seamless. From initial discovery through to final handover, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and with minimal disruption.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading end-to-end client onboarding, offboarding and integration projects
  • Conducting and interpreting technical discovery audits
  • Building structured project plans with clear milestones, risks and resource allocation
  • Coordinating engineers and third-party suppliers
  • Managing budgets, forecasting and commercial performance
  • Maintaining clear, proactive stakeholder communication
  • Driving governance, documentation and structured project closure

You may also support wider infrastructure upgrades and integration initiatives as required.

What I'm looking for:

You will be an experienced IT Project Manager with a track record of delivering technical projects using recognised methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or Scrum. You must be technically credible, commercially aware and confident in engaging senior stakeholders. While this is not a hands-on engineering position, you should understand infrastructure environments well enough to challenge assumptions, interpret discovery findings and guide sound decision making.

Experience across several of the following areas is important:

  • Cloud platforms and service models
  • Microsoft 365 environments and tools
  • Networking and connectivity
  • On-premise server infrastructure
  • Endpoint and Windows-based technologies

A BIG BONUS: Experience within an IT services or Managed Services environment.

The ideal person:

You remain calm under pressure, think logically and bring clarity to complex situations. You build trust quickly, manage expectations effectively and take genuine pride in delivering high standards. You are organised, financially astute and comfortable balancing competing priorities. Most importantly, you see projects through properly and ensure clients feel informed and confident at every stage.

If you are looking for a visible, senior role where you can genuinely shape client experience and delivery standards, I'd love to hear from you.
