Role Overview
This role includes maintaining high standards of hygiene across the nursery. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a clean and well‑maintained environment for children and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all nursery areas, including playrooms, bathrooms, staff rooms, and communal spaces, are cleaned to the highest standard.
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect high‑touch areas and equipment in line with nursery policies.
- Manage laundry duties, including washing and drying nursery towels, cleaning cloths and stocking them.
- Ensure that all toilets are regularly cleaned, well‑stocked with essential supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels), and maintained throughout the day.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when stock replenishment is needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a hygienic and safe environment for children and staff.
