We’re now looking for a Centre Director to lead our nursery, ensuring outstanding standards, compliance, and growth.

The Role:

As Centre Director, You Will:

  • Lead, mentor and inspire a team of early years professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards.
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead.
  • Manage nursery operations, including staffing, ratios and rotas.
  • Drive occupancy, parent satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Build trusted relationships with families, staff, and external partners.

Essential About You:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing an early years setting.
  • Proven success in leading a nursery rated Good or Outstanding.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, child protection and health & safety.
  • Leadership skills with experience in team development and performance management.
  • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
  • Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding training.

Desirable:

  • Experience in budget management and staff deployment.
  • Coaching/mentoring experience.
  • Degree in Early Childhood Studies, EYTT or QTS.
