This is a contract hybrid role for a GCSE Maths Tutor specialising in supporting students with dyslexia and ADHD. Based in Reading, this role allows for some remote work flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored tutoring sessions, teaching mathematics and algebra concepts.
- Adapting methods to accommodate neurodiverse learning styles.
- Supporting students online and in-person.
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Mathematics and Algebra teaching.
- Proven experience in Online Tutoring and tutoring in structured environments.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Understanding of neurodiverse needs, including experience working with students with dyslexia and ADHD, is highly advantageous.
- Possession of relevant teaching qualifications or certifications is preferred.
- Ability to create engaging and dynamic lesson plans tailored to students' needs.
- A DBS check or willingness to obtain one prior to the start date.
