We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our Children\’s Home specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Ilford. About The Role As the Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting young people and ensuring high-quality care. Your key responsibilities will include: Upholding and promoting the rights of young people, ensuring choice, respect, dignity, and privacy. Adhering to safeguarding policies and reporting any concerns in line with procedures. Notifying the Service Manager of significant changes in young people\’s needs. Maintaining accurate records in line with company policies. Conducting formal key work sessions with young people and producing detailed reports. Promoting young people\’s involvement in service delivery, quality assurance, and organisational development. Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal colleagues and external stakeholders. What We\’re Looking For NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in a social care-related subject. At least 2 years\’ experience in Children\’s Residential Care. Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and compliance requirements. Knowledge of social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties and their impact on young people. Flexibility to work shift patterns, including weekends.
