Leader Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Autism Support Worker to join a welcoming SEND school in Ashington. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people with autism and additional needs. This role is Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30.

About The Role

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with autism.
  • Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
  • Support the development of communication, social skills, and independence.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to tailor support to individual needs.
  • Promote inclusion and ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed.
