About the Role
LCM Environmental Services Ltd are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our expanding division within a nationwide organisation. Working across commercial and industrial environments, you will play a vital role in supporting the electrical team across a variety of projects.
The successful candidate will uphold company and industry standards, adhere to national safety regulations, and deliver a consistently high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Duties
- Survey sites containing installed electrical systems.
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with national electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Complete work orders accurately and record materials used.
- Identify electrical issues and carry out effective repairs.
- Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical systems in public spaces and buildings.
- Advise management on when to replace outdated electrical equipment to prevent potential hazards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues using appropriate electrical testing equipment.
Please note: The above duties are not exhaustive; additional responsibilities may be assigned by your line manager.
Qualifications & Requirements Essential Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a qualified electrician.
- City & Guilds 2391 – Electrical Inspection & Testing.
- IT literate with the ability to complete electronic documentation.
- Must be a driver with UK licence
