Overview

Opportunity for a high calibre 4 – 5 PQE structured finance lawyer to join this global offshore firm whose Cayman team has been consistently recognised as a market leader in this field. The role encompasses the full range of debt, equity, equity-linked, credit-linked and asset-backed securities, insurance linked securities, derivatives and other structured products, including securitisation, repackagings, collateralised bond and loan offerings, note programmes, commercial paper and depository receipt programmes and convertible debt and warrants issues. Clients include leading international financial institutions, managers, arrangers, agents and trustees.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality legal advice on structured finance matters across the full spectrum of debt, equity and structured products.
• Contribute to transactions involving securitisation, repackagings, collateralised bond and loan offerings, note programmes, commercial paper and depository receipt programmes, and related instruments.
• Advise on note programmes and related regulatory and transactional issues for clients including international financial institutions, managers, arrangers, agents and trustees.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of PQE in structured finance or a closely related field.
• Strong academic record.
• Qualified in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or South Africa.
• Experience at a major international or offshore law firm is preferred.
