Responsibilities
The Cayman office of this highly-regarded global offshore firm is looking for a high‑calibre finance lawyer with 7–9 years PQE. The role will focus on financing and banking caseloads, including fund finance, debt capital markets, private equity and complex structured finance transactions. Candidates fluent in Spanish or Portuguese will be of particular interest. The team acts for a blue‑chip client base that includes major international financial institutions, multinational businesses, global investment firms and leading onshore law firms.
Qualifications
- Admitted in either the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong or Canada
- Experience gained at a top‑flight international or offshore firm
- 7–9 years PQE in finance / banking law

Remuneration
Due to the low tax rates you can earn more than at Magic or Silver Circle firms in London while working more predictable hours, still being able to undertake interesting, high‑value work on behalf of major blue‑chip clients, and having greater client contact and opportunity for travel and business development.

Superb climate: average daily high temperatures range from 29 °C – 33 °C in Grand Cayman; 28 °C – 31 °C in BVI; 20 °C – 30 °C in Bermuda. All the islands have English as the main language and a friendly, lively, cosmopolitan expat community, making settling into island life easier. No exams are necessary to get admitted and practise in Cayman, BVI or Bermuda.
