Due to continued growth, a leading London-based property asset manager is seeking a Property Administrator to join its busy Consents team.

This is a hybrid position, with two days per week in the London office and three days working remotely.

The role will primarily involve coordinating the end-to-end processing of property alteration requests across a diverse portfolio. You will review property documentation and proposed plans, liaise with customers and help ensure applications progress efficiently through the consent process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing Land Registry titles, leases, transfers and deeds to establish ownership and determine whether proposed alterations are permitted, prohibited or subject to conditions.
  • Reviewing drawings and plans relating to proposed property alterations.
  • Providing customers with details of the landlord's requirements, supporting documentation required and applicable legal and professional fees.
  • Liaising with customers regarding their applications, resolving initial queries and providing accurate progress updates.
  • Liaising with surveyors and solicitors where required to help progress applications through to completion.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring applications are dealt with efficiently and within required timescales.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally gained within property, leasehold management, conveyancing or a related environment.
  • Some knowledge of freehold and leasehold property and leases would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable dealing with customers by telephone and email.
  • Able to manage a varied workload and work to deadlines.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and practical approach.
