We're working with one of the UK's leading sports and entertainment businesses to recruit a Legal Counsel to join its growing legal team in London. You'll work directly alongside the General Counsel, advising across a broad range of commercial matters while supporting one of the UK's most recognisable leisure and media organisations.
You'll be involved in:
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
- Media rights, licensing and distribution contracts
- Advising on sponsorship, technology and commercial partnerships
- Supporting bookmaker and betting industry relationships in the UK and internationally
- Real estate, NDAs and general commercial matters
- Providing legal support to racecourses, events and venues across the business
We're looking for:
- Strong commercial contracts experience gained in private practice or in-house
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- A commercially minded lawyer who enjoys working closely with the business
- Experience in media, technology, IP or licensing would be advantageous but isn't essential
