We are currently recruiting for a brand-new Paralegal position, to work in the London office of a leading US law firm.
The role will be offered on a permanent basis and support the growing Litigation team.
This fantastic opportunity will see you working in an excellent practice area, partaking in a range of activities including legal research, managing documents, and liaising with clients.
Paralegals at this firm are offered a range of high-quality work and exposure that is second to none.
Typical duties will include (but are not limited to)
- Managing document production processes and case management regarding documents.
- Collecting materials from clients and third parties, tracking and progressing, as necessary.
- Performing legal and factual research.
- Analysing and proofreading documents; checking legal cites.
- Compiling bundles and appendices.
- Preparing witness statements and interviews.
- Supporting trial and hearing preparation.
- Communicating with witnesses, experts, clients, and court personnel.
- Assisting with BD and marketing materials.
- Managing the know how system.
As such, the firm is looking for a driven Paralegal, with a strong academic background.
Suitable applicants will also have ideally gained some prior experience in a litigatory paralegal role (or similar) within a law firm or in-house legal department.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of document filing with the High Court and Civil Procedure Rules is essential.
