The Role The Law Society is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Lead to drive our internal EDI strategy, ensuring it is embedded in our culture and ways of working. As the EDI Lead, you will join an established function that has been expertly built up over the past 3 years, with significant scope to develop the role further. This high-profile position offers lots of visibility and strong support from the executive and leadership team. You will be at the forefront of developing, implementing, and embedding EDI initiatives across the Law Society and helping us become a more inclusive and diverse workplace. What we’re looking for This is an excellent opportunity for someone with authentic authority on EDI matters to make their mark. To be successful you will need a proven track record of engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders to drive behavioural change, expertise in developing and implementing strategies and action plans, and the ability to analyse and present complex issues with discretion and confidentiality. We’re looking for someone who is politically astute with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships. Knowledge of the legal profession in relation to EDI, or previous experience working in a regulatory, institute or membership organisation, may be advantageous.
